Robert H. Gregg II, DDS
President and Chairman of the Board, Millennium Dental Technologies, Inc. Program Director, The Institute for Advanced Laser Dentistry
Dr. Robert Gregg has been using lasers clinically since 1990, including CO2, free-running pulsed (FRP) Nd: YAG, both single and variable pulsed; FRP Ho:YAG, surgical Argon, CW diodes and Er: YAG. He lectures both nationally and internationally on the subject of clinical laser applications. In addition to authoring several peer-reviewed articles on the clinical applications of FRP Nd:YAG for endodontic and periodontal uses, including recent continuing education articles on periodontal regeneration, he is an author of the Curriculum Guidelines and Standards for Dental Laser Education, versions 1992 and 1998.
Dr. Gregg obtained his Mastership and Educator’s Certification in the Academy of Laser Dentistry as provided for in the Laser Curriculum Guidelines. Dr. Gregg has been a member of Dentistry Today‘s Continuing Education (CE) Editorial Board since October 2008 and also serves as a peer reviewer for CE articles. He has been named to Dentistry Today‘s “Leaders In Continuing Dental Education” multiple times including its most recent 26th annual listing. A co-developer of the FDA-cleared PerioLase® MVP-7™ pulsed Nd:YAG laser, he also developed and patented the LANAP® periodontal protocol, which provides evidence-based dental care supported by two published human histological studies. The LANAP protocol has also received FDA clearance for True Regeneration. He founded Millennium Dental Technologies, Inc. with the mission of changing the standard of care for periodontal disease by removing the fear from treatment and thus increasing patient acceptance. He is an Adjunct Associate Professor at Rutgers School of Dental Medicine and maintains a private practice where he sees patients.
Dawn M. Gregg, DDS

Dr. Dawn Gregg has extensively lectured nationally and internationally and published on the subject of the LANAP® procedure and the clinical laser applications of the PerioLase® MVP-7™. Her work also includes publications focusing on peri-implantitis and the LAPIP™ protocol including a paper entitled, “Pulsed Nd:YAG Laser Treatment for Failing Dental Implants Due to Peri-implantitis,” for SPIE.
Dr. Gregg is a member of Omicron Kappa Upsilon Dental Honor Society. Notably, she has orchestrated a Multi-Center Clinical Study in the role of LANAP® Clinical Study Monitor. This University and private practice-based longitudinal, prospective, randomized blinded study compares the LANAP® protocol with conventional periodontal therapies. She is responsible for ongoing initiatives with dental curriculums where the LANAP® and LAPIP™ protocols are being taught, including Rutgers School of Dental Medicine (RSDM), University of Kentucky College of Dentistry (UCKD), the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF), and the United States Army and Navy. She is also an Adjunct Professor at RSDM.
Dr. Gregg is a fourth generation dentist after her father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, each of whom practiced in California’s San Fernando Valley, and one of seven dental professionals in her family, so far. An honors graduate of the UCLA School of Dentistry, Dr. Gregg has maintained a thriving private practice that focuses on treating periodontal disease with the PerioLase® MVP-7™ for the LANAP® protocol.
